Groundbreaking Ceremony

The Howard County Veterans Foundation cordially invites you to the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Howard County Veterans Monument and Neighborhood Square. We are pleased to host this event in partnership with the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, The Howard Hughes Corporation, and Columbia Association. The Neighborhood Square will be named for long time Howard County resident and community leader, Ms. Vivian C “Millie” Bailey, in recognition for her military service during WWII and her lifelong commitment to public service.
