Christmas Tree Dedication Ceremony

On 18 November 2020 members of Post 7472 will hold their 12th annual Christmas Tree Dedication Ceremony at the Kendall Hardware Store in Clarksville, MD.

This ceremony was organized by our own Service Officer, Al Hernandez, along with Ms. Ann Parlette of Clarksville, who is the originator of the event.  Ms. Parlette has two grandsons who served our country in Afghanistan.  Overall, the ceremony is dedicated to them and to all veterans, both active duty or retired.

Your support is needed to help make this, our 12th annual dedication, a complete success, so please plan to come and support our Service Officer and especially, Ms Parlette.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attempts to maintain social distancing while participating in this very worthwhile and patriotic event, you will be required to wear your face mask at all times if social distancing cannot be maintained. Please plan to arrive earlier than the start of the ceremony so you might have time to do some shopping in the hardware store.

ALL VFW, AUXILIARY MEMBERS, MARINE CORPS LEAGUE MEMBERS and AMERICAN LEGION MEMBERS WHO PRESENT THEIR I.D. CARDS WILL RECEIVE A 10 PERCENT DISCOUNT OFF ALL PURCHASES.

If you have any difficulties, ask Al Hernandez to intervene because the ceremony will begin precisely at 1900 hours (7:00 p.m.). If you have a Service Cap of your respective VSO, or otherwise, please wear it, but dress for the weather because the ceremony will be held outside.
