Honor Flight Maryland

American Legion Post 156, in partnership with Honor Flight Maryland, has the unique opportunity to host Honor Flight Maryland bus trips for Veterans living in the Maryland/Delaware area. This program will commence with a trip on Saturday, May 11, 2019 starting at the VFW Post 7472 in Ellicott City, MD.

Honor Flight Maryland is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s Veterans from the surrounding Maryland and Delaware areas for all their sacrifices by transporting our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit THEIR memorials. If you are a WWII, Korea or Vietnam Veteran, and will like to visit the memorials in Washington D.C., then this is your chance!! There is no cost to you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided.
What do you need to do? Access the Honor Flight Maryland website at https://honorflightmd.org/hf/
On this website you can open and electronically complete an application for either a Veteran or Guardian. You can either mail the application or send in electronically. Instructions on the form are provided.
If you know of someone who is a World War II Veteran please meet with them and assist in filling out an application for them. Send it in on their behalf.
